Cancel within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you for every unused day — you only pay for the days the service was active.
If you are a consumer (not purchasing for business purposes) in the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel a subscription within 14 calendar days of purchase without giving any reason.
By subscribing, you expressly request that the service begins immediately. If you use paid features and then request cancellation within 14 days, the refund is calculated on a pro-rata basis: you are charged for the days the service was active and refunded for the remaining unused days in the billing period.
EU consumers have equivalent rights under the Consumer Rights Directive. You acknowledge that your right of withdrawal will be lost once the service has been fully performed at your request. For subscription services, the right to withdraw applies to the first billing period.
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 14-day pro-rata refund guarantee on all paid plan purchases. The refund amount is calculated as:
| Purchase type | Refund window | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| New subscription (any paid plan) | 14 calendar days from first payment | Pro-rata: charged for days used, refunded for remaining days |
| Plan upgrade | 14 calendar days from upgrade date | Pro-rata of the upgrade charge for unused days |
| Subscription renewal | 7 calendar days from renewal charge | Pro-rata of renewal charge for unused days |
| Annual plan | 14 calendar days from purchase | Pro-rata: charged for days used (out of 365), refunded for remaining |
Refunds will not be issued where:
When you cancel, your paid plan features remain available until the end of the current billing period at no extra charge. If you cancel within the 14-day refund window and submit a refund request, the pro-rata amount (unused days) is refunded — your plan access ends immediately upon refund approval. Voluntary cancellation outside the refund window carries no credit or refund for remaining days.
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at billing@pdfxinet.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We resolve billing disputes quickly and chargebacks incur fees that we may need to pass on. We work in good faith to resolve all billing concerns promptly.
Refunds are returned at the full amount charged including any VAT that was collected. VAT invoices are available on request from billing@pdfxinet.com for business customers.
This commercial refund policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK), the Consumer Rights Directive (EU), or any equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction. You always retain any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law regardless of the terms of this policy.
